Writing on the wall as Gio van Bronckhorst now needs ‘miracle’ – Official Rangers partner

The writing may be on the wall already for Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his Rangers job after yet another poor week of football, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.

Rangers travel to Napoli this week in the Champions League with the Dutchman seeing his support fully gone from the Ibrox faithful after more boos.

The official club partnership insisted that Van Bronckhorst would need a “miracle” to turn the support around, with his playing style simply boring.

Writing in their latest blog post, Four Lads made it very clear that the writing may be on the wall for the manager as he continues to labour on.

“Jeers of derision both on Wednesday and Saturday have spelled the end of the support for Giovanni Van Bronckhorst at Rangers,” they wrote.

“He requires a miracle turnaround to win back the fans who have lost faith in this brand of football and the whole situation has an air of inevitability about it.

“When you are booed off midweek then ask for a big performance and response, subsequently to be booed off the next game at half time and full time, some might say the writing is on the wall.

“The football is chronic and at times absolutely boring.”

Unacceptable.

Big changes are needed at Ibrox, and it goes much further than Van Bronckhorst.

Getting the obvious out of the way first, the football and tactics on show right now are nothing short of embarrassing, with the obvious lack of a game plan clear to see every single week.

Falling four points behind Celtic at this stage of the season is unfathomable, yet here we are after that dreadful 1-1 draw against Livingston over the weekend.

On to the likes of Ross Wilson, who right now appear to be stealing a living.

Despite signing a huge number of new players over the years, we are still seeing the same rubbish on the pitch every week as the new faces just aren’t good enough to make a consistent impact.

We hate to use them as an example, but Celtic sign new players and they make instant impacts on their squad, so what is going wrong here?

It may take more than a miracle to save Van Broncjhorst with how quickly this is unravelling.
