Steven Davis has sent an eight-word message to teammate Ianis Hagi following his loan transfer from Rangers to Alaves.
The 24-year-old has joined the La Liga club for the rest of the season, as per the official Rangers website (27 August).
The Romanian international, who has 99 Rangers appearances to his name, joined the club on loan in January 2020 before making the move permanent that summer.
“Everyone at Rangers wishes Ianis well for his loan spell which provides him with a fantastic opportunity for regular football having spent almost a year out through injury,” as per the official Rangers website.
Posting a message to the player following the transfer, Davis wrote on Instagram: “Best of luck with the loan move mate.”
Right decision

It’s definitely the right decision from Hagi to leave Ibrox on a temporary deal, with the player certain to struggle for minutes under Michael Beale this season.
The player’s injury has, of course, dealt him an unfortunate blow in his Gers career, which definitely had plenty of promise in its early stages.
Injury aside, perhaps he hasn’t quite been consistent enough for the Scottish club, but that is why only a temporary exit makes perfect sense.
Not only will he get plenty of minutes on the pitch at Alaves, but there he will have the opportunity to impress Beale from afar and prove that he can still cut it at Rangers.
Another major positive is that Hagi will be playing in La Liga, where he will come up against some of the best players in world football in the coming months, which should get him back to his best before a return to the Scottish Premiership next time out.
In other Rangers news, another player could leave Ibrox this summer, his exit may hinge on one condition.
