Mohamed Diomande has started brilliantly at Rangers since joining in the winter.
Stephen Craigan has smashed into Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande for his actions against Motherwell at Ibrox on Saturday 2 March.
The January signing threw himself to the floor after apparent contact from Stephen O’Donnell, which the latter was actually booked for.
Despite that, Craigan unleashed on Diomande, calling his reaction “embarrassing” as the Bears went on to lose 2-1 against the Steelmen
Speaking live on BBC Radio Scotland on 2 March, Craigan could not believe what the Rangers midfielder was playing at in the second half.
“It’s a bit embarrassing from Diomonde,” he said [4:15].
“Him and Stephen O’Donnell come together, O’Donnell pushes him off and he’s down holding his face. Stephen O’Donnell is going to get a yellow card so he’s obviously motioned his arms towards him but Diomande was trying to convince the referee to give him a red card.”
Rangers waste away at top of Scottish Premiership
Philippe Clement’s men were finding ways to win games right now without playing well at all, but this is not a good result whatsoever at Ibrox.
There is a fighting spirit in the squad, although things like Diomonde going down very easily can be left at home with everyone watching on.

Clement will have been delighted with the effect his new midfielder has had before this one, with his goals against St Johnstone and Hearts enough to somewhat justify the heavy fee that will follow the loan in the summer.
He has hit a brick wall today though, with many of the squad struggling to hit top level.
Hopefully, this is just somewhat of a small blip and the Bears can bounce back as soon as possible, with plenty of games still left to play.
That is the message that Clement will be getting across to his squad.
